Unexpected Visit

Olivia quickly pried open the case. She picked WolfHeart up and ran. Hiding and sneaking She ran. When she got back to WolfHearts Den she put him down. She layed him in his bed and brushed away some hair from his face. Sighing she layed down next to him. Her heart thumped louder and louder as she layed there staring.

A long eerie kind of screech pierced the air and filled the den with echoes of horror. Soon, screams erupted out of now where. The Vampires were attacking.

Olivia stood up. Scared she shook WolfHeart. "WAKE UP!! COME ON!PLEASE!!" A tear escaped her eye and fell onto his cheek

WolfHeart was being violently shaken. 'What?' He asked drowsily. As he heard another scream he shot up. 'What's going on!?' WolfHeart asked, fully awake now.

"The vampires are attacking!!" Scared, Olivia covered her face with her hands and let out a few sobs. 'not again!not now! it has only been a month since i lost my family!' She thought

WolfHeart got up and peered out of the doorway, there were flames from candles falling over and catching on the citizen's doorway. He smelled fear, Vampire, and Hatred. 'We'll make out of this, but you have to stay here, I need to do something.' He said vanishing behind the drapes.

"WolfHeart" She yelled as she reached out too late. scared she frantically looked around. She sat on his bed and wrapped herself in his blanket. "keep him safe. please god. watch over him,and keep him safe!" she prayed.

WolfHeart leaped through the air instantly landing in the court-yard, because his den was looking over it. 'Where are they?' he asked himself, he sniffed and saw that they were attacking the Minor's den. He leaped over to it in two huge leaps and skid in side. He saw two dead minors on the floor in front of him and saw two Vampires running down the hall, chasing a helpless Lycan.

WolfHeart was furious, he leaped into the air and caught a hold of one and flung him at the other one, who ducked in time and averted it's attention to him. WolfHeart growled and sprinted at it bearing his teeth and claws. He sliced into it's cold flesh and ripped out it's heart. The vampire fell dead and WolfHeart grabbed the other, threw it on the ground and growled, 'Why are you attacking!?'

The Vampire whimpered and said, 'You're supposed to be dead!'

'Well, I'm not!' A flash back of the Vampire's face over his mother's dead body appeared. He was his mother's killer. 'You do not deserve to live.' He growled, as he smashed his hand through the Vampire's chest he got a hold of the heart, 'Any last words?' Wolfheart asked.

The Vampire hesitated. 'I was Naive and young. And, I was ordered to. I didn't want to but I was ordered to.' He whimpered. 'That doesn't make a difference now though, go ahead, kill me, you're right, I deserve to die.' WolfHeart's hand loosened a little, but he still didn't forgive him fully. 'I will.' He answered.

WolfHeart clenched his hand and felt the heart become nothing. The Vampire's eyes rolled back and he fell with a hard thump. He raced back to his den to see if Olivia was alright.

Rocking back and forth Olivia sung to herself. She hid her face in the blanket, when suddenly the shrieks stopped. She lifted her head and listened. She heard a few steps outside,and clutched the blanket tighter. The curtains shifted and there stood WolfHeart. Relieved she let go of the blanket. "Thank god!" she manage to whisper.

Wolfheart stood in the doorway 'Are you alright?' He asked.

"ya" she manage to choke out before she jumped up and hugged him. 'What am i doing' she thought.

WolfHeart was taken aback, but accepted the hug. For a while they stood there. 'Are you sure?' He finally asked.

Olivia pulled back to look at his face. "ya. I'm alright." She smiled.

WolfHeart smiled back at her. 'Do you need anything?' He asked.

"no not really..." She said as she traced her finger along a cut. "you're bleeding" Olivia took out a bandage and covered his cut. Blushing she looked away.

'Thanks.' He said.

"no problem." Olivia started walking around. She stopped at a picture of a young boy and his parents. "these are your parents?" She asked tracing along the frame.

'No, but the next one over is me and my mom.' He answered.

"ah" She said as she looked at the picture. Looking around she saw a picture of WolfHeart and some girl. "your lover?" she asked kind of nervously.

'Er - yeah.' He answered.

"mm" Olivia looked at them. She could feel her heart sink. 'why am i feeling like this?' she thought. "She was very pretty" She said sadly.

'Yeah.' He agreed. He looked at the picture himself. She was gone now. He stepped over at the window and looked out into the rising sun, he slowly transformed back into a human.

Olivia sighed and walked next to him. "It's ok! she's probably watching you right now!" she put her hands on the window sill and smiled at Wolfheart.

'Yeah, maybe.' He said.
